Transmit 5 introduces a new dedicated DreamObjects protocol. The new protocol is different than the DreamObjects based servers in Transmit for iOS and Code Editor, which use a variant of the S3 protocol.

If a DreamObjects based server created in Transmit 5 syncs to either iOS app (or vice versa), it will be disabled and displayed as an “Unsupported Protocol”.

As a workaround it is possible to create separate DreamObjects based servers for use in Transmit 5 and Coda/Transmit for iOS.

When is the new DreamObjects based server type going to be added to Transmit for iOS and Code Editor?

At this time we do not have a specific date when additional protocols will be supported in Transmit for iOS and Code Editor.
