Can I sync my Favorites?

If you purchased Transmit via the Mac App Store, you can sync your favorites through iCloud.

Transmit 4 & Dropbox Sync

A quick heads up: Transmit 4 uses an old Dropbox API for syncing your favorites… and this API is now deprecated. That means, soon, Transmit 4 will no longer be able to sync your favorites using Dropbox.

Specifically, the Dropbox API was deprecated on 6/28/2017 and the feature was removed in 4.4.13.

The good news is that Transmit 5 will offer our (free!) Panic Sync service. The bad news is it’s not ready just yet. Almost! So close.

We apologize for our not-very-great timing. And we know “just buy our new thing!” is a pretty weak solution to a feature that got broken — we’ll do what we can to make it right for people impacted by this, once Transmit 5 ships.

Does Transmit 4 support Panic Sync?

Not at this time, but we’re working hard to bring Panic Sync to Transmit for Mac.

For the time being you can export your servers from the Favorites menu, and then import them into Coda and Transmit for iOS.
